HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-66 - CUP/Variance - Building Construction - Russnick City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION 2000-66 A RESOLUTION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT/VARIANCE TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A BUILDING FOR RUSSNICK CONTRACTING FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 7604 COMMERCE STREET, PID #26-119-23-11-0031. WHEREAS, Todd Russ, along with the owner of the property located at 7604 Commerce St., City of Corcoran, have requested a Conditional Use Permit/Site Plan/Variance to construct a commercial building; and WHEREAS, The Corcoran Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 7, 2000 and there were no questions raised by the public; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted 5-0 to recommend approval of the request; and WHEREAS, The Corcoran City Council considers public testimony and the recommendation of the Planning Commission in making a decision. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Corcoran finds the following: FINDINGS OF FACT 1. The property is zoned C-2 2. Contractors Office/warehouse is permitted by Conditional Use Based on the above findings, the Corcoran City Council hereby issues a Conditional Use Permit to allow a contractors office and warehouse, located at 7604 Commerce St., PID #26-119-23-11-0031 subject to the following conditions: 1. The exterior colors of the building shall be reviewed and approved by the City Planner. The roof shall include appropriate eves and overhangs. 2. Parking areas shall be paved with curb and gutter provided around the perimeter. 3. Parking stalls shall be 9'x20'. 4. Drainage and Utility easements shall be provided as required by the City Engineer. 5. An accurate boundary survey shall be provided. 6. Any lighting of the parking area or building shall use a shielded light source with fixtures to be approved by the City. 7. A landscaping plan shall be submitted that identifies species type and size. 8. Variance approved for septic system plan by the Wastewater Commission (Done 9/11/00). 9. Approval of the proposed r-o-w vacation and drive area turn around plan. Moved by Councilor Lindsley, seconded by Councilor Gmach. The following voted in favor of said resolution: Guenthner, Lindsley, Gmach, Thomas and Bucher. The following voted against the same: None Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
