HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-65 - CUP/Variance - Accessory Building - Milow Electric City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION 2000 - 65 A RESOLUTION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT/VARIANCE TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF AN ACCESSORY BUILDING FOR MILOW ELECTRIC FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 20201 COUNTY ROAD 50,PID #26-119-23-12-0004. WHEREAS, Jim and Linda Milow, the owners of the property located at 20201 County Road 50., City of Corcoran, have requested a Conditional Use Permit/Site Plan/Variance to construct an accessory commercial building; and WHEREAS, The Corcoran Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 7, 2000 and there were no questions raised by the public; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted 3-2 to recommend approval of the request; and WHEREAS, The Corcoran City Council considers public testimony and the recommendation of the Planning Commission in making a decision. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Corcoran finds the following: FINDINGS OF FACT 1. The property is zoned C-1. 2. Storage buildings are a permitted accessory use. 3. The building will be setback behind the main building. 4. All equipment to be stored indoors 5. Private dwelling is of a character that will likely be replaced in the near future. Based on the above findings, the Corcoran City Council hereby issues a Conditional Use Permit to allow an accessory storage building, located at 20201 County Road 50, PID #26-119-23-12-0004 subject to the following conditions: 1. The accessory building shall match the existing building in color. 2. Only storage of equipment for the business operating from the property shall he allowed. 3. The building shall be setback 10'from the drain field. 4. Any trash or dumpster area shall be indoor or screened. 5. All equipment shall be stored indoors. Moved by Councilor Gmach, seconded by Councilor Bucher. The following voted in favor of said resolution: Guenthner, Gmach, Bucher, Lindsley and Thomas The following voted against the same: None Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
