City of Corcoran
County of Hennepin
State of Minnesota
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran is dependent upon collection of a tax to fund a portion of its
operating budget and bonded debt; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County requires that the preliminary levy be certified by September 15`h
each year.
WHEREAS, the City may reduce but not increase it's final levy after certification on September
15`h
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Corcoran hereby
adopts the following preliminary tax levy for collection in 2001 upon taxable property in the City of
Corcoran for the following purposes:
$969,097 General Fund Levy (after state aid reductions)
$14,000 1996 G.O. Bond Debt Payment Levy
Moved by member Ron Thomas, Seconded by member John Bucher.
The following voted in favor of said resolution: Ken Guenthner, Ron Thomas,John Bucher,
Dixie Lindsley and George Gmach.
The following voted against the same: None
Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
