HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-57 - CUP for Oversized Accessory Structure - Hoffman 1 City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION 2000- 57 A RESOLUTION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW AN OVER-SIZED ACCESSORY STRUCTURE, ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 22835 COUNTY ROAD 10, PID#17-119-23-21-0003. WHEREAS, Greg and Susan Hoffman, owners of the property located at 22835 County Road 10, City of Corcoran, have requested a Conditional Use Permit to construct a accessory structure; and WHEREAS, The Corcoran Planning Commission held a public hearing on August 3, 2000 and there were no questions raised by the public; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend approval of the request; and WHEREAS, The Corcoran City Council considers public testimony and the recommendation of the Planning Commission in making a decision. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Corcoran finds the following: FINDINGS OF FACT 1. The building is setback approximately 700' from the public road. 2. The building is setback 100' to 400' from adjacent properties. 3. The property is 15.6 acres in size. 4. The facility is for agricultural use and personal storage. Based on the above findings, the Corcoran City Council hereby issues a Conditional Use Permit to allow an accessory structure, located at 22835County Road 10, PID #17-119- 23-21-0003 subject to the following conditions: 1. No outside storage shall be permitted on the property. 2. No commercial use of the facility shall be permitted. 3. Any modification to the use of the facility shall require an amendment to the Conditional Use Permit. 4. The exterior finish should be complimentary to the existing structures on the property. Moved by Councilor Thomas, seconded by Councilor Bucher. The following voted in favor of said resolution: Guenthner, Thomas. Bucher and Lindsley. The following voted against the same: None Excused Absent: Gmach Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
