A RESOLUTION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
TO ALLOW A HOME OCCUPATION IN AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE, ON PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 21636 NYSTROM LANE, PID #28-119-23-44-0013.
WHEREAS, Scott Lindsley, owner of the property located at 21636 Nystrom Lane, City of
Corcoran, has requested permission to operate a home occupation in an accessory structure; and
WHEREAS, The Corcoran Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 4,
2000 and there were no questions raised by the public; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was concerned about outdoor storage, impacts on
neighbors, and appearance of the structure; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted 4-1 to recommend approval of the request; and
WHEREAS, The Corcoran City Council considered the recommendation of the Planning
Commission in making a decision.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of Corcoran finds the
following:
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. The applicant owns and operates a landscaping/snowplowing company that currently
operates from a commercial site.
2. The applicant wishes to construct an accessory structure that meets all ordinance
regulations in order to store his equipment on site and operate the business from his home.
3. No employees will report for work at the home office.
4. The architectural design is to give a residential appearance.
Based on the above findings, the Corcoran City Council hereby issues a Conditional Use Permit to allow
a home occupation in an accessory structure, located at 21636 Nystrom Lane, PID #28-119-23-44-0013
and legally described as Lot 2, Block 1, Nystrom Meadows, all in Section 28, Township 119, Range 23,
Hennepin County, Minnesota; subject to the following conditions:
1. Proper building permits shall be obtained prior to construction.
2. No outside storage of personal or business equipment is permitted.
3. No Employees.
4. Only one driveway is permitted.
5. May not run equipment for maintenance, repair or other reasons other than the hours of 7:00 AM to
7:00 PM.
6. The permit is issued the current owner of the property and is null and void if the property is sold.
7. If violations of the ordinance or permit occur, a public hearing to revoke the permit may be scheduled
by the City Council.

Voting Against: None
Absent: Lindsley and Thomas
