RESOLUTION NO. 2000-23
A RESOLUTION SETTING AN OFFICAL NEWSPAPER FOR THE CITY OF CORCORAN
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran is required to establish official newspaper(s) for publication of
legal notices; and
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran by Resolution No. 2000-01 set the Crow River News, which is
a weekly newspaper as the official newspaper; and
WHEREAS, the City has the occasional need to publish notice on a shorter time frame than a
weekly newspaper allows;
WHEREAS, the Star Tribune includes Corcoran in it's readership territory and is a daily
newspaper.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Corcoran that the
Minneapolis Star Tribune shall also serve as an official newspaper for the City of Corcoran along with
the Crow River News.
Moved by member John Bucher, Seconded by member Ron Thomas.
The following voted in favor of said resolution: Guenthner, Thomas, Bucher and Gmach
The following voted against the same: None
Absent: Lindsley
Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried
