HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-20 - Vacating Drainage Utility Easements - Heather Meadows 2nd Addition - Brosnan City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2000-20 A RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS ON PROPERTY LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS LOT 3, BLOCK 1, HEATHER MEADOWS AND OUTLOT B, HEATHER MEADOWS SECOND ADDITION LOCATED IN SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 119, RANGE 23, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, Thomas and Jacqueline Brosnan are the owners of property and they have consolidated two parcels of land; and WHEREAS, as the owners of the consolidated parcel they have submitted a request to vacate the drainage and utility easement that crosses the parcel; and WHEREAS, on April 6, 2000, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and considered the request; and -- WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends approval of the vacation of drainage and utility easement. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Corcoran that the drainage and utility easement legally described as: A drainage and utility easement ten (10) feet in width abutting the south property line of Lot 3, Block 1 Heather Meadows and a drainage and utility easement ten (10) feet in width abutting the north line of Outlot B Heather Meadows Second addition all in Section 5, Township 119, Range 23,Hennepin County, Minnesota. Is hereby vacated. Moved by Councilor Gmach seconded by Councilor Bucher. The following voted in favor of said resolution: Guenthner, Lindsley, Thomas, Gmach, and Bucher The following voted against the same: none Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
