State of Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2000-01 RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ORGANIZATION OF THE CITY OF CORCORAN WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran (City) must designate the official newspaper on an annual basis according to State Statues M.S. 412.831; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to make annual appointments to positions representing the city; and WHEREAS, the City is required to set the official depositories and signatory for the city; and WHEREAS, the City is required to set miscellaneous organizational items. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City hereby makes the following appointments for the year 2000. 1. Official Newspaper The official newspaper shall he the Crow River News, 33 2"d Street N.E., PO Box 280, Osseo, MN 55369. 2. Official Meeting Time The regular City Council meetings shall be held at 7:00 PM on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. The council may hold special meetings in accordance with state law and local ordinance. 3. Acting Mayor The Acting Mayor shall be Ron Thomas. 4. NW League of Cities Delegate The NW League of Cities Delegate shall be Ken Guenthner. 5. NW League of Cities Alternate The NW League of Cities Alternate shall be John Bucher. 6. City Staff City Administrator Roberta Colotti Acting City Administrator Cynthia Patnode City Clerk/Treasurer Cynthia Patnode Deputy Clerk Roberta Colotti Public Works Director Patrick Meister Police Chief Paul Schutte Weed Inspector Steve Weinand 7. Planning Consultant The planning consulting firm shall be Northwest Associated Consultants, 5775 Wayzata Blvd., Suite 555, St. Louis Park, MN 55416. The Principal Planner shall be Cindy Sherman. 8. Building Inspector The building inspection firm shall be Metro West Inspection Services Inc., PO 248, Loretto, MN 55357. 9. Engineer The engineering firm shall be Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, 2335 W. Hwy. 36, St. Paul, MN 55113. The Principal Engineer shall be Vince Vander Top. 10. Attorney The City Attorney shall be Jeff Carson of Carson, Clelland & Schreder, 6300 Shingle Creek Parkway, Suite 305, Minneapolis, MN 55430-2190. 11. Insurance Agent The insurance agency shall be Anderson Insurance Agency, 312 Central Avenue S.E., #488, Minneapolis, MN 55414-1064. The Principal Agent shall be Shaun Irwin. 12. Veterinary The City Veterinary shall be Corcoran Pet Care Center, 7569 County Road 116, Corcoran, MN 55340. Principal Veterinary shall be Ian Drummond, D.U.M. 13. Seasonal Wages The City hires from time to time seasonal labor. The wage for general seasonal help is set at $9.61 per hour(1999 at $9.33). The wage for equipment operator seasonal help is set at $12.40 per hour(1999 at $12). 14. Official Depositories a. Farmers State Bank of Hamel b. U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. c. Gibraltar Securities Co. d. Salomon Smith Barney 15. Official Signatory The following individuals are hereby authorized as official signatories for the City: a. Ken Guenthner, Mayor b. Ron Thomas, Vice-Mayor/Acting Mayor c. Roberta Colotti, City Administrator d. Cynthia Patnode, City Clerk/Treasurer Moved by member John Bucher, seconded by member Ron Thomas. The following voted in favor of said resolution: Mayor Guenthner, Councilors Bucher, Gmach, Lindsley, and Thomas. The following voted against the same: None Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried. Dated this 13h1 day of Janualy, 2000. 4.
