APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF THE FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR "HODGfN
ACRES"
WHEREAS, th� Corcoran City Council adopied Resolution 20a6-72 approving a final
plat far Hodgin Acres on Dec�mber 14, 2D06 (and amer�ded by Resolution 2007-19);
WHEREAS, Section 935.010, Subd. 7 of the Corcoran City Code states that fhe final plat
shall expire 2 years frnm th� date of approval unless the applicant has recorded the final
plat with Hennepin County or unfess the applicanfi submits written request for an
extension;
WHEREAS, the final plat approvals expired on December 15, 2008;
WH�REAS, public impro�ements w�re begin in 2007 and completed in 2048 wEth City
approval;
WHEREAS, th� applicant submitted a written request for a extension in May 2008;
WHEREAS, an May 28, 2009, the City granted a plat extension until July 15, 2009;
WHEREAS, the final plat has not been f91ed and the applican# is now r�qUesting an
additional extension;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that t�e applicant has made good fai�h efforis ta
complete the platting process, the outstandin� plat issues are resolved, granting the time
extension request daes not damage the Ci#y of Corcaran and is in #he best interest of the
a�plicant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORCORAN, MfNNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the rec{uest for an
exte�sion af the final plat approvals until October 15, 2049, subject to t�e following:
1. The applicant must record the final plat and all assaciated documents at
Hennepin County prior to October 15, 20Q9.
2. The appltca�t shalf provide the City with proof of recording �rior to r�lease of any
remaining escrow.
