A RESOLUT�ON DENYING A R�QUEST FOR METROPOLITAN AGRICULTIlRAL
PRESERVE ��S�GNATION FOR 82.83 ACRES OF LAND 4WNED BY EDMUND
CA[N FAM�LY FARMS
WHER�AS, the owrters of fhe describecf parcels h��e made official application #or their
designation as an agriculiura! preserve; and
WHEREAS, the below described �arcels are lacated within the Metrnpolitan Urban
Service Area (MUSA);
WHEREAS, ihe parcels are iocated in �h� 2Q30 Sanitary Sewer Serv€ce Staging Plan of
the City's Cnmpreher�sive Plan;
WHEREAS, the parcels are lacated adjacent to Meister Road, which is planned tn be
upgraded as a Major Collector Road as part of the 2030 Corr�prehensive Plan;
WHEREAS, the Agricul�ure Preserve designation wouid be inconsisfent with the 2�30
Comprehensi�e Plan and the requirem��ts regarding size, covenants, development
density and other stipulations.
