RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -32

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR CORCORAN SEWER
AND WATER UTILITY PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the Corcoran Sewer and
Water Utility Project
bidder, WHEREAS, Wenck Assoc, has verified S. R. Wiedema is lowest responsible
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran is currently negotiating a water services
agreement with the City of Maple Grove,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
�) The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with S. R, Wiedema, for Schedules A, B, C, and D of their
base bid for a total amount of $1,065,184.30.
2) The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with S. R. Wiedema, for Schedule E (Maple Grove
Watermain) of their base bid for a total amount of $102,870.00,
contingent upon execution of a water services agreement with the City
of Maple Grove.
3) The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has
been signed.
