RESOLUTION NO. 2012-22

A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE CORCORAN SEWER AND WATER UTILITY PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, for many months the Corcoran City Council has been considering a sewer
and water project for the construction of sewer and water utilities from the Maple Grove border
to intersect with Hennepin County No. 116; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of November 2011, the Corcoran City Council held a public
hearing to review the feasibility of the project and determined the project to be feasible and
necessary and ordered preparation of plans and specifications by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has completed the plans and specifications and
presented to the City Council on April 24, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Corcoran City Council:
1) That the plans and specifications for the Corcoran Sewer and Water Utility
Project are approved.
2) That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids
under Minnesota Statute §429.041 for the Corcoran Sewer and Water Project.
