ORDINANCE NO. 2006-240
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFENSES AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION
OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFENSES
The Corcoran City Council ordains as follows:
132.01. Administrative Offenses
The Corcoran City Council has determined to enforce certain offenses within the City of
Corcoran as Administrative Offenses. Those offenses to be enforced as Administrative Offenses
shall be determined by resolution of the City Council as recommended by the Chief of Police.
132.02. Violation/Penalty
Any person violating one of the Administrative Offenses within the City of Corcoran
shall be subject to the scheduled administrative penalty. The City Council shall determine the
administrative penalties and both the Administrative Offenses and the penalty amount may be
amended, from time to time, by resolution of the City Council.
132.03. Enforcement
Any member of the police department or any other person employed by the city with
authority to enforce the City Code may issue administrative violations under this Ordinance.
Notice shall be given to the violator setting forth the nature of the offenses, the date, time of the
violation, the name of the official issuing the citation and the amount of the scheduled penalty.
132.04. Payment
Once notice of an administrative violation is given, the person responsible for the
violation shall, within 7 calendar days of issuance of the notice, pay the stated violation penalty
to the City Clerk.
132.05. Failure to Pay
If a violator fails to pay the penalty imposed by this Ordinance, or if the violator wishes
to contest the citation, then the matter shall be processed as a code violation or criminal offense
through the Hennepin County District Court System.
132.06. Disposition of Penalties
All penalties collected shall be paid over to the City Treasurer and deposited in the
general fund.

Effective Date
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon its passage and publication.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Corcoran, Hennepin County, Minnesota,
this 28th day of December, 2006.
