A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
TEXT OF CHAPTER 9, SECTION 955 OF THE CORCORAN CITY CODE, ENTITLED PARK
DEDICATION
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran initiated an amendment to update the Park Dedication Section
of the Subdivision Ordinance to be consistent with the adopted 2030 Comprehensive Plan and
Parks and Trails Plan; and
WHEREAS, the amendment would be consistent with and implement the 2030 Comprehensive
Plan and Parks and Trails Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Trails Commission and Planning Commission have reviewed the
proposed text amendments at a duly called public hearing and recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF
CORCORAN, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Park Dedication
Ordinance text amendment, based upon the finding that the proposed amendments would be
consistent with State law and the City's Comprehensive Plan, Parks and Trails Plan, and
compatible with other provisions of the City's Zoning Ordinance.
