A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING
ILLICIT DISCHARGE OR ILLICIT CONNECTIONS TO THE STORM SEWER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran has authorization to discharge stormwater under the Municipal
Separate Storm Sewer System Permit (MS4) through the National Pollutant Discharge
Elimination System (NPDES),
WHEREAS, an ordinance must be in place prohibiting illicit discharges and illicit connections to
the system,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORCORAN, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Illicit Discharge and
Illicit Connection Ordinance based upon the finding that the proposed ordinance would be
consistent with State law, City policies and the City's MS4 Permit.
