A RESOLUTION AS A WAIVER OF POTENTIAL CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
WHEREAS, Susan E. Torgerson of Kennedy & Graven, Chartered has been asked by the
Rockford School District to represent them in work relating to a Grant Application to the
Hennepin County Youth Sports Capital Grants Program;
WHEREAS, Kennedy and Graven also represent the City of Corcoran on matters unrelated
to this matter;
WHREAS, pertaining to the Grant Application to the Hennepin County Youth Sports Capital
Grants Program there may be certain agreements, such as leases and joint power agreement, that
need to agreed to by the City of Greenfield, Rockford School District and the City of Corcoran in
which the parties could have directly adverse interests as it relates to such agreements.
BE IT RESOLVED, The City of Corcoran hereby consents that Kennedy and Graven,
despite the existence of potential direct adverse interests between any of the parties of the City of
Greenfield and Rockford School District, and the City of Greenfield and the City of Corcoran,
may represent the City of Greenfield, Rockford School District, and potentially the City of
Corcoran in this matter.
