A RESOL.UTION APPRQVING �'INDINGS OF �ACT FOR AN ORCIiNANCE AMENDING THE
T�XT OF CHAPTER 10 OF THE CDRCORAN CfTY CODE, ENTITL�� CORCC}RAN ZONING
ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran ir�itiated an amer�dmen#�o update the Zoning Qrdinartce a€�d
Zoning Map to be consis�en#with the adopted 2030 Comprehensive Plan; and
WFiEREAS, the amendment would be consisten�wit� ar�d imp[ement the 2030 Comprehensive
Plan; and
WHER�AS, the Pl�nnimg Comm�ssian has reviewed the proposed text and rr�ap amendments at
a duly calEed pubfic h�aring and recammends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RES4LVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY O�
CORCORAN, MlNNES�TA, that it should and hereby does appro�e th� Zonir�g Ordinance #ext
amendment to repeal Chapter 'f 0 of the City Cad� (Zaning Ordinance) in its entirety and
repfac�d with new text and the Zoning Map amend�en�, based upon the find'€ng that �t�e
propased amendmer�ts wauEd be cansistent with State [aw and tl�e City's Compreh�nsiv� Plan,
and compatible wi#h other provisions of the Ci�y's Zoning Ordinance.
