A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT FOR ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH AND SCHOOL
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9141 COUNTY ROAD NO. 101
ON P.I.D. No. 13-119-23-11-0011
WHEREAS, St. John's Lutheran Church and School have requested approval of an Amendment to
their existing Conditional Use Permit on the property legally described as follows:
"Lots 11, 12 and 13, Block 4, Brandywine Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota, according to the
recorded plat thereof,
AND
The North 10 chains of the East 10 chains of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 119, �
Range 23, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
AND
That part of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 119, Range 22,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as beginning at a point on the West line of said Section 18,
a distance of 180.00 feet South from the Northwest corner of said Section 18; thence East at a right
angle to said West-line a distance of 125 feet; thence South at an angle of 90 degrees a distance of
250 feet; thence West at an angle of 90 degrees a distance of 125 feet to the West line of said
Section 18; thence North along said West line to the point of beginning."
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Amendment to the Conditional Use
Permit at a duly called Public Hearing,adopted Findings of Fact and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORCORAN, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Amendment to the
Conditional Use Permit for St. John's Lutheran Church and School, allowing tl�e construction of an
addition for a gymnasium, classrooms, storage and rest room facilities; subject to the following
findings and conditions:
1. T'he applicant shall comply with the recommendations cited in the July 19, 2007, Memorandum
to the City Council and comment letters received from Bonestroo and the Elm Creek Water
Management Commission and any amendments thereto.

2. That a permit be received from the Hennepin County Department of Transportation for the
driveway to be reconstructed south of the Church and accessing onto County Road No. 101.
3. That a11 Sewer Access Chazges (SAC) required by the Metropolitan Council Environmental
Services(MCES)be paid to the City of Maple Grove prior to the issuance of the building permit by
the applicant.
4. Tha.t no Water Access Charges (WAC) are required by the City of Maple Grove for this
expansion.
