RESOLUTION EXTENDING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL
FOR LAURENT DEVELOPMENT COMPANIES
WHEREAS,Laurent Development Companies, LLC ("Laurent")received preliminary plat
approval and preliminary PUD plan approval for its development known as"Hedgestone"on
December 30th, 2004; and
WHEREAS,the approving Resolution(s)required Laurent to submit the final PUD plan to the
City for final approval within two(2)years of December 30th,2004; and
WHEREAS,Laurent has now come before the City Council and requested a one(1)year
extension in which to submit its final PUD plan.
NOW,THEREFORE,the Corcoran City Council RESOLVES as follows:
1. The City is satisfied with Laurent's explanations required of code section 930, subd. 8 as
to the reasons for the extension request,the good faith efforts to complete the plat and the
anticipated completion date.
2. The City hereby grants Laurent a one(1)year extension for submittal of its final PUD
plan,the one (1)yeaz to run from the date of this Resolution.
3. The one(1)year extension is conditioned upon Laurent paying, in full, its obligations to
the City by June 1 st, 2007,or at such time as it makes any additional application to the
City, whichever date is sooner.
Moved by Councilmember Thomas, seconded by Councilmember Cossette.
The following voted in favor of said Resolution: Cossette, T'homas, and Lymangood.
The following voted against the same: Jacobs and Grabowski.
The following abstained:None.
Whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, and was signed by the
Mayor and attested by the Clerk dated this 28th day of December, 2006.
