HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2024-22 Tavera 4th Vacation ResolutionCity of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2024-22 Motion By: Nichols Seconded By: Schultz March 28, 2024 APPROVING VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS FOR "TAVERA 4TH ADDITION" SUBDIVISION (CITY FILE 24-004) WHEREAS, U.S. Home, LLC (Lennar) ("the applicant") has requested approval of easement vacations within the subdivision. WHEREAS, the applicant has requested vacation of that portion of the existing easements legally described as follows: See Attachment A WHEREAS, the Corcoran City Council considered this item at a Public Hearing; WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing was mailed to all landowners of property directly abutting the area to be vacated and to all utility companies serving the area; WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing was published in the official newspaper; WHEREAS, the City finds that the existing drainage and utility easements are no longer required; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORCORAN, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following vacation, subject to the following conditions: 1. The applicant must record the resolution approving the vacation at Hennepin (ON and provide the City of Corcoran with proof of recording. 2. The applicant must record the resolution approving the vacation prior to issuance of building permits on Lot 10 and Lot 11, Block 2, Tavera 4th Addition.
