RESOLUTION APPROVINCT A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 246 (SIGN
ORDINANCE) FOR PUBLICATION
WHEREAS, the City Cou7lcil approved Ordinance No. 2�6, amenclin� the sign ordinance, on April
23, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 246 is lengthy and Minnesota
publish a summary of an ordinance; and
Statutes section 412.191 allows a city to
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of t11e intent
and effect of the ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed copy
A the ordinance is available at City Hall, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, be it resolved that the City Council approves the
summary in Attachment A for publication in accordance with state law.
