WHEREAS, pursuant to bids and quotes sought for 2009 street maintenance materials for various
streets within the City, bids and quotes were received, opened, and tabulated according to law; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
Class S Gravel
Dennis Fehn Sand &Gravel $5.72 Ton $2.26 -Delivered by T & S Trucking
BE IT RESOLVED that Dennis Fehn and T & S Trucking have been identified as the lowest
responsible bidders;
Crack Sealing
Northwest Asphalt $1.02 per pound
Astech Corporation $1.33 per pound
Allied Blacktop $1.79 per pound
BE IT RESOLVED that Northwest Asphalt has been identified as the lowest responsible bidder;
Dust Control
Dust Coating Inc. $0.68 gal. ((3 year contract 2009 — 2011)
BE IT RESOLVED that Dust Coating Inc. has been identified as the lowest responsible bidder;

BE IT RESOLVED that GMH Asphalt has been identified as the lowest responsible bidders;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORCORAN, MN:
1. That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contract with above
identified responsible bidder in the name of the City of Corcoran for the 2009 street maintenance
materials.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
