A RESOLUTION DENYING THE RENEWAL OF THE LIQUOR LICENSE(S) FOR THE
STANCHION BAR
WHEREAS, the Corcoran City council passed Resolution 2009-21 on June 11, 2009 approving the
renewal of liquor license(s) application for July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 by the Stanchion Bar,
20037 Co. Rd 10, Corcoran, MN 55340.
WHEREAS, a provision in Resolution 2009-21 states “All required fees and all documentation
required by the city, the county, or the state must be filed with the city prior to July 1, 2009 or the
licenses will not be considered valid.
WHERAS, the Stanchion Bar has paid a total of $3,000 toward the required fees of $4,500 to the
city of Corcoran as of the close of the City of Corcoran business day of July 1, 2009.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Corcoran City Council revokes all liquor
licenses previously granted in Resolution 2009-21; and that the business owners and/or liquor
license holders cease all dispensing and selling of all alcoholic beverages at the Stanchion Bar as of
4 PM on July 16, 2009.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, this order is stayed providing that the owners and liquor license
holders pay all required fees as required by the city of Corcoran City Code and Resolution 2009-21
in the amount of $1,500 as of 4 PM on July 16, 2009
