RESOLUTION NO. 2009-45

RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT HEARING
ON THE SHANNON LANE BRIDGE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Corcoran City Council awarded a contract to GL Contracting on September 24,
2009 for the Shannon Lane Bridge Proj ect; and
WHEREAS, the City Council intends to assess all, or a portion of the cost, of the Project to the
benefitting property; and
WHEREAS, under Minn. Stat. §429.061, a Public Special Assessment Hearing needs to be held
prior to adoption of a Special Assessment with proper notice to property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Corcoran City Council:
1. To call a Special Assessment Hearing on the Shannon Lane Bridge Project for
November 12, 2009.
2. Directing staff to give the Notice required of Stat. §429.061 to all property owners
to be assessed for this Project.
