A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF DEPUTY CLERK/BOOKI�EEPER
WHEREAS, the Corcoran City Council approved an agreement with Vision Staffing to place Jeanie
Heinecke in the temporary position of Deputy City Clerk/Bookkeeper.
WHEREAS, Jeanie Heinecke has fulfilled the role of the Deputy City Clerk/Bookkeeper since July 27,
2009.
BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council "at their pleasure" hereby agrees to the following employment
pIan;
Position titles as Deputy City Clerk/Bookkeeper during 2010. When Jeanie Heinecke meets the
requirements of the position, her performance is above average in these two major areas of
accountability, and she satisfactorily completes the first year of the three year certification program for
City Clerks during 2010, her title will be upgraded to City Clerk/Treasurer beginning 2011 and move
her to the current Grade level of 9 for this position. Given her previous experience in financial
accounting, excellent office skills, and.performance over the last five months, the following grade and
wage assignment is proposed:
o Dec. 28, 2009 to June 28, 2010, start her F/T employment at Grade 7 and at the 4 year step
($23.79/hr).
o June 28, 2010 to Jan. 3. 2011, step increase within Grade 7 to the 5 year step ($24.53/hr).
o Jan. 3, 2011, based on the above stated criteria, move her to Grade 9 at 2 year step ($25.00/hr).
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council hereby authorizes the hiring of Jeanie Heinecke as
Deputy City Clerk/Bookkeeper effective December 28,2009.
