A RESOLUTION REQUESTING CITY COUNCIL TO DIRECT CITY STAFF TO
INVESTIGATE ASKING THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR INCREASED
CAPACITY AT THE ELM CREEK INTERCEPTER
WHEREAS, the Corcoran City Council accepts the Planning Commission request
Erecting City Staff to ask the Metropolitan Council to investigate the idea of increasing the
di
capacity of the proposed Elm Creek Interceptor.
BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council hereby recognizes this is an important time to plan
ahead by in finding a way to increased Corcoran's sewer capacity before the proposed
Metropolitan Council Elm Creek Waste Water Interceptor is constructed; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council hereby directs City Staff to ask the
Metropolitan Council to investigate possible alternatives to increase capacity in the proposed
Elm Creek Interceptor coming from Maple Grove, Minnesota.
