WHEREAS, throughout 2008
Anniversary; and
WHEREAS, since
by providing the
voluntary mediation
Community Mediation ServicesInc. is

celebrating its 25tn
1983, Community Mediation Services, Inc. has been an asset to the community
inspiration and tools to resolve conflict respectfully and effectively through
services; and
WHEREAS, Community Mediation Services, Inc. is anon -profit community resource governed by
community residents and operating with financial support from state, local, and private sources; and
WHEREAS, Community Mediation Services, Inc. has provided over 18,000 mediations and trained
over 250 community mediators;
WHEREAS, the Corcoran City Council reviewed this item at their meeting on June 12, 2008; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Corcoran City that hereby
recognize the 25th Anniversary of Community Mediation Services, Inc. and ask all to join in
celebrating this auspicious occasion.
