A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF CR 116, FROM CSAH 116 /
CR 159 (TERRITORIAL ROAD) TO CSAH 30, FROM A B MINOR ARTERIAL TO AN A
MINOR RELIEVER
WHEREAS, the Northwest Hennepin County study designated CR 116 and the Fletcher Bypass
to be classified as an A minor reliever, and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County and the City of Rogers have requested the City of Corcoran's
support for a Met Council application to reclassify CR 116 as an A minor reliever from CSAH 116 / CR
159 (Territorial Road) to CSAH 30, and
WHEREAS, The A minor reliever designation is consistent with Downtown Corcoran full
intersection spacing at 1/ mile,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORCORAN:
The City of Corcoran supports the reclassification of CR 116 as an A minor reliever from CSAH
116 / CR 159 (Territorial Road) to CSAH 30 (97th Avenue N).
