Resolution 2022-140 Walcott Glen Vacations for D&U Easements
City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2022-140 Motion By: Schultz Seconded By: Nichols November 27, 2022 A RESOLUTION APPROVING VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT IN RAVINIA 11TH ADDITION (PID 36A 19=2344-00301 36-119-2344-0031, 36A 19-23-44-00321 36A 19-2344-0033 AND 36A 19=2344-0024) (CITY FILE NO. 22-072) WHEREAS, Pulte Homes of Minnesota, LLC (the "applicant") has requested approval of easement vacations, and; WHEREAS, the applicant has requested vacation of the existing easements legally described as follows: See Attachment A WHEREAS, the Corcoran City Council reviewed the vacation at a duly called public hearing, and; WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing was published in the official newspaper, and; WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing was mailed to all landowners of property directly abutting the area to be vacated and all utility companies serving the area, and, WHEREAS, the City finds that the existing drainage and utility easements are no longer required as new easements were dedicated with the Walcott Glen plat, and; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORCORAN, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the vacation, subject to the following conditions: 1. The applicant must record the resolution approving the vacation at Hennepin County and provide the City of Corcoran with proof of recording.
