A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
TEXT OF SECTION 1030.020 OF CORCORAN ZONING ORDINANCE (CITY FILE 21-029)
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran has proposed an amendment to the accessory building
standards related to sidewall height on accessory buildings; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public Hearing
and recommends approval, and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORCORAN, MINNESOTA, that it does approve an amendment to Title X (Zoning Ordinance)
of the City Code to amend the accessory building standards, based on the following findings.
1. The proposed amendment would be consistent with State law and the City's
Comprehensive Plan.
2. The amendment would allow all properties to request a conditional use permit for a taller
sidewall regardless of lot size.
3. The amendment is consistent with the intent of the accessory building ordinance as
amended in 2011.
