Mayor Guenthner reconvened the workshop at 6:00 p.m., on November 29, 2001.
The purpose of the workshop was to address city staffing issues.
Present were Councilors Bucher, Gmach, Guenthner and Thomas, City Clerk
Vergin and Police Chief Schutte. Councilor Gageby was excused absent.
The agenda was approved by consensus.
The Council discussed the vacancy of the city administrator position.
Possible alternatives for filling the position were discussed.
Discussed contracted services and the need to evaluate the services being provided.
Addressed staff performance evaluations. Department Managers will proceed to
perform the evaluations of their employees over the next month. Council members
will be asked to help with the evaluation of the Department Managers.
Mayor Guenthner recessed the workshop at 6:55 p.m., and announced that it would
be continued on December 13, at 5:00 p.m.
