Mayor Guenthner opened the workshop at 6:06 p.m., on October 24, 2002. The
purpose of the workshop was to address the City’s 2003 preliminary budget.
Present were Councilors Bucher, Gageby, Gmach, Guenthner and Thomas. Also
present were Administrator Vergin, Clerk/Treasurer Tillmann, and Public Works
Director Meister.
The agenda was approved by consensus as presented.
Discussion centered on the labor union negotiations with the Police Officers
Union. Administrator Vergin and Councilor Gmach serve as the City’s
representatives for union negotiations. No action taken.
MOTION by Gmach, seconded by Bucher and carried unanimously to
table discussion on the 2003 budget until the Council schedules another
workshop.
Mayor Guenthner recessed the workshop at 6:59 p.m.
