The Special Council Meeting of March 8, 2002 was called to order at 6:40 p.m.
The purpose of the Special Meeting was to interview City Administrator
candidates.
Present were Councilors George Gmach, Ken Guenthner and Ron Thomas.
Mayor Guenthner took the minutes during this meeting. Councilor John Bucher
arrived at 6:50 p.m.
The City Council interviewed one candidate for the City Administrator position.
The interview process concluded at 7:30 p.m.
The Mayor continued the meeting until Saturday, March 09, 2002 at 8:00 a.m.
Acting Mayor Gmach continued the Special Meeting on Saturday, March 9, 2002
at 8:08 a.m.
Present were: John Bucher, George Gmach, David Gageby, Ron Thomas, and
Minute taker Cindy Patnode.
The Clerkâs office received a phone call at 8:58 a.m. from the 3:15 p.m. candidate
stating that because of the weather, he was unable to attend the interview.
Patnode took his number and the Council will contact him during the week to
reschedule.
The Council interviewed four candidates prior to Mayor Ken Guenthner arriving
(arrived at 12:50 p.m.) and three candidates after the mayor arrived. The original
4:30 candidate moved up to 3:15 p.m.
Interviewing concluded at 4:05 p.m. Contact was attempted to reschedule the
original 3:15 p.m. candidate. Voice message was left for him to contact City
Clerk Sue Vergin to state if he could make the interview at 5:45 p.m. on
Thursday, March 14, 2002.
The meeting was continued to Thursday, March 14, 2002 at 5:45 p.m.
to meet with the candidate who needed to reschedule due to the weather (pending
his availability).
This candidate was no longer interested in the position, as he had taken another
position, therefore the March 14 meeting was canceled.
