Review of Truth in Taxation Material
Administrator Vergin reviewed the material that will be provided during the Truth
in Taxation Hearing. A graph prepared by Councilor Bucher will be modified and
included in the material. Council requested that an emphasis be made on the
reserve fund policy and projected balance at year ending 2004. Tax capacity
comparisons will be provided. A complete review of the line item budget will not
be done, but will let public know that copies are available. The cities to compare
Corcoran to will include Greenfield, Medina and Dayton.
Mayor Elect brought up discussion regarding the cost comparison between the
City’s police department and the Hennepin County Sheriff. The Council directed
that this matter be placed on the next council agenda for discussion.
Other Business
